The route starts from the car park of the Bullcroft Memorial Hall on Chestnut Avenue, in Carcroft near Doncaster .
A short loop of the village and then route begins to head east . The route follows wherever possible quiet country lanes with sections of main road kept to a minimum. The route has 2 feed stops courtesy of old macdonald which are open 24 hours, these are just prior to Market Weighton after around 40 miles and in Bridlington after around 80 miles. The route finishes on Scarboroughs beautiful North Bay .The finish line is firstly crossed before a short loop up onto the headland to take in the view before dropping back down to the finish. The cafe at the finish line is usually open Sunday mornings for final refreshments.
